01 - Preheat your heart-shaped waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well blended.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined—do not overmix as a few small lumps are acceptable.
05 - Lightly grease the preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray or a small amount of melted butter.
06 - Pour enough batter into the center of the waffle iron to cover approximately two-thirds of the surface. Close the lid and cook for 3–5 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
07 - Carefully remove the cooked waffle using heat-resistant tongs. Repeat the cooking process with remaining batter until all waffles are prepared.
08 - Serve waffles immediately while warm, garnished with your choice of fresh strawberries, whipped cream, maple syrup, powdered sugar, or chocolate chips.
